“My respect for Chuck has grown over the years as co-members of two men's support groups. The first group centered around personal growth and the second now focuses on spiritual growth. I believe Chuck's participation in these groups, his thirty-five year career as a university professor, and his remarkable and full life have uniquely prepared him to be a powerful and capable life coach. His commitment and dedication to growing emotionally, spiritually and intellectually have brought him to his life's work. His clients are in good hands.”Read More...

MISSION & VALUES

My mission is to partner with you in realizing your highest potential with a greater sense of fulfillment as you make important, perhaps necessary transitions through life.
I will encourage and motivate you.
I will keep you on track and moving toward your goal.

I value a holistic approach to life coaching by focusing on:

  • you as a whole person with multiple inter-related dimensions including practical, intellectual, emotional, physcial, and spiritual
  • developing your self-awareness
  • building your positive self-image
  • defining clear priorities
  • setting achievable goals
  • creating and following through with an action plan
  • recognizing and assessing appreciable results

MY EXPERIENCE

With three decades as a university professor I recognized that my greatest sense of personal fulfillment came from my extensive experience as a mentor, adviser, and coach to my students. For many years, I taught courses in professional practices in which I guided students through clarifying their career goals; creating action plans; preparation of professional portfolios, identity systems, and resumes; job market research; job applications; and interviewing techniques. I also advised and guided graduating seniors as they transitioned into various professional careers. For fourteen years I chaired my academic department providing organizational leadership and guidance to sixteen faculty, six staff, and 200 students. I realized that this experience could serve me well as a life coach. It was clearly a logical progression into CAREER TRANSITION COACHING.

In addition to my experience in academia, I have over thirty years of personal growth and development through individual and group counseling and spiritual development. I apply this experience holistically throughout all my practice as a life coach. For many years, I have been an active member and facilitator of men’s support groups. My wife and daughter are professional advisors/counselors, and I have several lifelong close friends with professional counseling practices.

In 2002, I decided to persue a fulltime practice in life coaching. I am a certified graduate of the Life Coaching Institute, and I am an affiliated member of the International Coaching Federation.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I truly love the partnering relationship as a life coach. I look forward to every session with my clients. Between sessions, I search for every resource and every strategy I am able to find to help them. Seeing them find their path to their own prosperity and fulfillment, discover their fullest potential, and revitalize their lives are all tremendously fulfilling and enriching to me. I feel enormously blessed in this service to my clients.
